      A friend forwarded me a test like this, about make-up, which did the same thing. I wish I could figure this shit out without every resource trying to acquire every detail of my digital life, to beam advertising at me 24/7

        You could use a mail masking forward service like https://simplelogin.io/ or https://ironvest.com/.

        They give you a custom email address that forwards to your main email. It lets you stop forwarding the address at any time. Helps cut down on spam and lets me know when a service is breached since it's always a unique email address. There's a few others out there as well that do basically the same thing. Some may offer additional goodies like ome time credit cards or forwarding phone numbers.
