Also accuses us of getting "offended at anyone, for any reason." Literally indistinguishable from a chud.

So I make sure i'm following, Hexbear users confronted a programming.dev admin on Lemmy.ml about Hogwarts game, and Blahaj decided to defed even though they hate HB and (some of their users) think trans HB users are faking being trans?

yeah, their users wanted to remain federated because the transphobia was well akshully hexbear's fault and it wasn't actually transphobia, and neither is what's in the OP.

Lemmy drama remains inscrutable and hexbear remains the only place with users who actually care enough about to be articulate and educated. Big ups as always to our 100% genuine trans comrades.

Days of our lives solidarity The Fediverse

Having totally incomprehensible multi-year long plot arcs that are nearly impossible to unravel

"I've just found the birth certificates..." long pause while tense music quietly builds and camera zooms onto face

"Blahaj and Hexbear are twins separated at birth!" bum, BUM, BUUUUUMMMM!!!

On the Hexbears being articulate and educated front, I think it helps that users here will shred someone alive in the replies if they say unfunny, stupid shit.

No I meant programming.dev but now that you mention it, why not? Isn't .ml a Marxist Leninist instance? And very sectarian? If blahaj hates tankies so much, why still federated with a commie instance? Either I'm missing something, or something stinks

lemmy.ml is the dev instance. It's generally left leaning, but not explicitly political like lemmygrad or hexbear.

idk man, blahaj and consistency mix like oil and water. i guess ML is just a palatable "starter" instance like dot world, but less popular. thus it is not viewed as marxist-leninist?

I might be wrong but I don't think lemmy.ml is a Marxist Leninist instance. You might be thinking of lemmygrad.ml which is. I'm not sure why lemmy.ml uses that top level domain.

The .ml top level domain stands for Mali, not Marxist-Leninism. As for why instances use it, I would guess it's because Mali lets users register them for free. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20130407005038/en/Mali-.ML-Domain-Names-Free
