On a different Lemmy account I forgot to switch to local and was subjected to the cesspool of Lemmy World. There I encountered libs being seriously condescending toward Muslims in America for boycotting Genocide Joe. Shit like "don't they realize Trump will be worse for minorities" and "that's shortsighted and a failure of Muslim leadership" and even the incomprehensible "hate is a bad long term strategy" (this just in folks, opposing genocide is Hate, supporting genocide is Love! But Liberals aren't fascists! /s)
Fuck Liberals. I almost respect Conservative racists more because they're open about being evil scum, whereas the libs are too deluded to even admit to themselves that they're racist.
They really are the worst. I knew a fuck ton in New York who virtue signal anti-racism but then say that countries like Germany have lower crime rates because they aren't as diverse. Even the way they'll speak to you when you aren't white or white-passing is condescending as hell.
Also annoying is how heavily they fetishize non-white people sexually. Never had more middle-aged white women tell me about how they love Latinos like I'm supposed to be flattered by it.
