tbf in January 2020 it wasn't Trump vs. Biden, we all still had hope for Bernie. Also the media was still pushing Pete heavy after Iowa. It wasn't Trump vs Biden until March 2020.
I know it was necessary for us to move on from the Bernie moment, and maybe we were too hopeful - Bernie would have been crushed by forces beyond any of us had he actually succeeded, the liberals then declaring "socialism doesn't work" and it'd be another 26 years before the left rose again-but lord I still look back on that period with a certain wistfulness. Call it romantic, utopian, idealist, whatever, they were good months, and honestly the last time I had any hope. Then Bernie fell, and it all fell apart.
That primary and the sabotaged pandemic policies combined cracked my lib programming irretrievably, and I was reading Lenin for the first time when the uprising in Minneapolis broke out
