I was the only solo person in the theater last night at the 10:30pm showing and surprisingly, the dudes in the straight couples sitting in front of me were also very into it.....its cause Josh O'Connor is a baddie and who wouldn't have sex with him in the backseat of a run-down Jeep during a hurricane.....
Audibly laughed when one of the dudes grabbed his girlfriend's arm and quietly went '
noo!!', during the
spoiler
scene where Zendaya 'tricks' (more like 'acts as their not-gay defense' lmao) my two baddies into making out with eachother.
dude clearly didn't watch the trailer.

Yeah I also figured it was going to be cringe when I initially saw the trailer but I decided to see it this weekend instead of Tarot cause it was a 10:30 showing instead of Tarot's 11pm and a friend had told me I'd would really enjoy the soundtrack & some of the shots and they were completely right. At one point the camera is showing the tennis ball's perspective and it was better than anything I'd seen in any of the last handful of Marvel movies I've caught. Definitely a recommend!
