My mental health got into a weird superposition of "better" and "worse" so my brain reshuffled all of my interests and hobbies and the grillpill ones came out on top. But after the last decade week it felt like time to come home to the most powerful posters.

      Yeah it was crazy, after years of having to trick him into drinking water by mixing it in with his wet food, I caught him licking water off the shower floor and and decided to try putting a bowl out again, and just like that he was fine.

      Also, FWIW they sell little cat water fountains that look like dribbling faucets, maybe your girl would like one of those?

        big fan of these, my cat always was okay about drinking water but made an unholy mess of it by splashing in the bowl with his paws when it was just a bowl.

            I've had cats in my life for almost 40 years and never had a cat do that. Conclusion: every cat is weird and a mystery

              My current cat will paw at it a little, tap the edge of the container or just stand in it sometimes while she's drinking.
