Apple TV puts out some good stuff, foundation and severance were both excellent. I enjoy pirating their content

      foundation

as someone who's read the books, I fucking love the show, and enjoy imagining Isaac Asimov rolling in his grave as his characters are rewritten to actually be multidimensional people and the story's fashione dinto something a bit more cohesive, with many of the main characters being non-white and/or non-men.

Severance is getting a season 2 and apparently it's the most expensive TV show ever made.

Budget for season 1 was insane considering the entire series took place in an office

Severance was neat (though it's also an incomplete story so I have to reserve judgement in case S2 fucks it all up), but as someone who was a big fan of the books, I really disliked Foundation.

It varies drastically from the books so if you're a huge fan of the books I can see why foundation could be unappealing
