As an Elder Scrolls enjoyer, problematic parts and all, the poster glazing over Sheogorath as the best written character ever has massive "lolrandom equals brilliant" blinders on. Must also find the Penguin of Doom endlessly funny.
I regret to report that a lot of Elder Scrolls fans do see Sheogorath as the pinnacle of character writing and babble about it accordingly in zone chats across Elder Scrolls Online.
The Skooma Cat deliberately lampshaded their Flanderization by not being interested in cheese and mocking people for asking.
No i don't. Going by the influence the best written character in ES is Lifts-Her-Tail, closely followed by Dagoth Ur and third place go to Durak or Courier. Also honorable mention for Adoring Fan.
The Skooma Cat incarnation of Sheo from ESO's Elsweyr DLC is much less grating than his other appearances. Still one of the worst written daedra (on par with Molag Bal imho), Nocturnal stays winning.

Even Hircine, one of the simplest Daedric concepts overall, isn't Flanderized the way Sheogorath (or Molag Bal) is.
