Personally I like round but I live with square if that's all they have. I found round easier to eat since you can fold it if you want. Actually I don't know if square is a thing out west or if it's strictly east coast.

    detroit style is usually square, so its definitely a thing outside the east coast, but idk about the west coast, that's like a foreign country

    also you mean pieces of pizza or whole pies?

    because round pizza cut into squares is also a thing

        We had a local place that imploded due to money laundering or something, but they'd cut their normal pies into standard wedges but cut their thin crust pies into squares. Both pies were round. It never made sense to me but I also never asked. I could easily eat a whole thin crust pie by myself in one sitting though.

        Why yes, I'd love half of my slices to be greasy and difficult to pick up, and the other half to be dry pieces of bread with no toppings.

        It's not like God invented a food that fits perfectly in the human hand without having to touch the tasty greasy parts.
