    Pretty cool how he took one of the most widespread platforms for distributing information yet built and completely trashed it in a few years of petty manchild tantrums.

    All he had to do was not change anything to keep twitter as a massively powerful tool, and yet.

        There was an interview a few years ago where Julia Roberts was asked why she didn't have Twitter. She didn't know what it was and after it was explained to her, she said "Why would I want that? That's like...shouting into the wind."

        I wish everyone had Julia Roberts' attitude.

      The sadder part is that this completely trashed platform still hasn't really been replaced yet.

      9 times out of 10, whenever something's going on, the link will be to a Twitter post instead of Bluesky or whatever.
