put all of your election posting here so it doesn't bother anyone else!

from @CoolerOpposide@hexbear.net:

For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

Definitely time for a social media blackout. My lib friends are gonna be insufferable and whiny and Chicken Little-ing all over the damn place.

They undermined any moral high ground they had over Republicans by endorsing genocide. Seriously, how can you take what anyone says seriously on issues like women's rights, LGBT rights, minority rights, etc when they're prepared to accept genocide. At the end of the day, it's all the Democrats fault. Not to go all all Goodwin's law, but Hitler apparently was big on animal rights and public health campaigns. Does anyone care? No because he committed the holocaust!

Oh I know, but I'd have better luck explaining that to a 3 year old than a lib. I've literally had someone tell me they didn't give a shit about Palestine cuz they had LGBT family members and Trump would be so much more dangerous than Copmala for them. Literally been surrounded by libs who use fucking identity politics to excuse their genocidal bullshit.

And I know you've also tried explaining this to them, but hitching the cause of LGBT rights to the Democratic wagon is a dead end, given the above. Long term, it puts us in a worse position and kills international solidarity.
