The funniest part about all of this discourse is that I’m still not even sure if this post even belongs here

I literally don't know what's going on and I've lurked in every drama thread. Do not inform me. My mind is a pure empty expanse.

these dramas are not user friendly enough. To understand it one has to scout through these 300+ threats where half the conversation is missing ,because the user was banned , then decipher the that this is actually not the core drama at all ,just a sub skirmish about the core drama. Coredrama is something about "tone" , and then you see Mods and Admins falling on their swords. Pressumably something about tone... at which point you give up.

Do not inform me , My mind is Pure.

Make me an admin and I will abuse you all in ways that are either clear and legible to all, or completely opaque and incomprehensible even to the two of us but still deeply unsettling, as you prefer.

Make me an admin, and I promise I'll make unqualified praise of the USSR bannable, then make the megathread about space stuff or trains.

then immediately prompt discussion about trains and going to space

Isn't this just much nicer and clearer?

That, and being the only officially materialist org of that size in history actually applying that to science and logistics? There was basically no way for them not to raise the bar. I'll be able to ban everybody and cite a rule they hate! It will be wonderful! It could be better I guess if I get a similar rule but get you yo vote for it, but thats sacrificing legibility for quality here.

To be clear: I'm promising legible abuse.

I tried figuring it out and I still don't understand it. insert Tyler the Creator quote here Like just rename the comm and move on? People are writing these giant walls of text that are larger than the actual Communist Manifesto.

seriously I saw someone somehow reach the hexbear comment character limit and self reply with three more pages of comments of the same length

        a real logout moment

I did not realize we had a character limit and the reason is because I've been amongst trees and sunlight before

I've reached character limits before. But that's because I was posting blocks of historical texts in c/marxism

It was more finding little known niche areas of sovietology and posting them or having an overall topic, such as 'what does purging mean in the soviet union', and then quote-dumping until I run out of sources

Rename the comm and move on would be great, the issue users took was there was more to it than that and multiple reasons given, behind the scenes discussions, but yeah it was all blown out of proportion I think
