Spoilers I guess but the season is like eight years old...

This dumbass tries to do a "revolution" in one city and just forgets about the rest of the world's military forces which are obviously going to be hostile to him. How's he gonna feed the non-benders when the city is besieged by the Earth Kingdom army and blockaded by the Fire Nation fleet? Maybe they can keep making gloves and mech suits and shit, but they don't have any mines to extract raw materials from, so they're going to run out pretty quickly unless they can expand. Maybe non-benders will be sympathetic to their cause outside of Republic city, but the rest of the world isn't letting anything in or out of that city while it's under his control so unless they've got cadres set up in every Earth Kingdom city, Fire Nation city, and both Water tribes they're stuck. Just terrible planning all around.

This guy needs to read Mao. He might have actually been successful if he went to the countryside but instead he's so focused on the stupid city he traps himself inside it.
