Please shill me on beans. For the record I will never like refried beans, but I am open to other bean dishes. They have protein and are cheap.
I do like Siracha and easy lunches. Sounds good.
If I'm put the wall because of my anti-refried beans stance, I will die with a clear conscious and not-nauseous stomach.
Burritos are a great way to get into beans. Black beans are probably the best, plus some rice, a whole bunch of diced veggies (peppers, cukes, tomatoes, fried onions, shavacadoo, whatever you want, cooked or not) and all your favourite sauces. Wrap it all up professional and toast it on all sides on low heat in a little bit of oil.
I really like a good chili though, because you can literally put every kind of bean in it plus all the veggies you want, and it's incredibly rich, nutritious, and filling. I need to buy a dehydrator because it makes prime back country tripping meals.
I'm not a fan of refried beans either. It just feels too much like baby food slop to me, but I haven't had it much so I don't know.
What I like to do with beans is fry them in a bit of oil with garlic powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika, adding in onions later on so they don't get burned. Then depending on what I'm feeling like I could add one or more of the following: white/red wine, nooch, garam masala, dried basil, oregano, diced tomatoes, celery, sriracha, grace sauce, chili flakes, cayenne pepper, cumin, or turmeric.
So basically, I don't always have the same combination of spices/sauces every time, or the same type of beans every time, so beans never really get boring for me, even though it's not the only high-protein food I eat.
You know what would be nice? Some radical veganism, not vegan101 for pick me vegans
The only vegans still remaining are the nice omni apologists. Look at this shit, needlessly killing animals with another animal's stolen puke
