    "Both sides are bad" is the truth and needs to be repeated. "Both sides are equally bad" is a falsehood and a fascist talking point.

      Exactly, but that's a tough distinction to maintain and an easy one for opponents to intentionally conflate. "Democrats could be way better than they actually are" might be an easier way to accomplish the same thing.

      might as well argue about whether the moon is made of cheese. it might be (not a moonologist, not sure), but either way the point is irrelevant because it's all up there in the sky, not going to go there any time soon.
