it's really quite astounding the amount of sus shit that's in mainstream and critically acclaimed animes, some of which claim to be deconstructions of tropes and the genre, or parody/satire. Evangelion, Kill la Kill, Attack on Titan, Pokemon, Dragonball Z, One Piece, Sword Art Online, One Punch Man, Cowboy Bebop and others all pretty much do this (have scenes with pedophilic undertones, scantily clad young girl children, falling on top of someone to "accidentally" feel them up, 1000 year old dragons that look like kids, etc) so it's the "slop" and the "prestige" animes that both do this, prestige ones just have layers of irony

The anime tends to use bullshit excuses like "getting naked for special attacks is empowering actually which is why the camera and narrative focus is entirely on young women (or younger) getting naked for their special attacks" while having a predictably hog-heavy audience eating hog slop under the thin veil of excuses.

The overlap between Prestige TV and mainstream anime's fandom excuse generation is typically "it's not condoning a thing to put cinematic and narrative focus on it and emphasize it sensationalistically for entertainment purposes" sophistry.
