the dollop on Kellogg is great and Patton Oswalt is a guest
The Dollop with Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds #46 - LIVE w/ Patton Oswalt - The Cereal Men
He did a two part-er on the "Man-o-sphere" that was pretty amusing. Gives a shout out to people who were into role playing as dragons online for possibly keeping him from sliding into reactionary land as a youngster.
He's just a lib. Episodes like this are his best, the Tiger King one is great too.
I find his takes and general understanding of domestic US issues to be very good and well researched. When it comes to anything outside the US borders they become pretty much utter dogshit.
Agreed, and the Behind the Police miniseries along with the ICE episodes and how much America hates children were great as well.
The Satanic Panic episode had a bunch of really fucked up background about how child sexual abuse done by fathers was dealt with in America in the years leading up to the Panic
(Among other things, mothers were blamed for not satisfying the fathers' sexual needs enough)
He's been in the streets covering and confronting fascists for several years now: definitely not a lib. I understand why people don't care for all his stuff but at least identify what it is you don't like instead of using lib as a catch all.
Only time I've ever heard him talk theory he basically said "Google Murray Bookchin."
This one was really hard to listen to. It's beyond my understanding how anyone could do that to children
