Twitter really needs to go away. Reddit isn't immune to this either, but at least the length of the post that you would need to make to get this level of attention makes it easier to poke holes.
We have been so ready to cancel AOC (I know she has done bad stuff) that we are saying stuff that makes us sound insane to anyone that isn't a hyper-online communist.
Because people see something they want to believe and stop thinking about it. Leftists are no more immune to confirmation bias than anyone else.
