The worst "allies" for pretty much any disadvantaged group are the smug condescending assholes that decree what the disadvantaged group should or even must to do continue winning the "ally's" favor. Whether it's about "respectability" or @Civility@hexbear.net or some other variety of concern trolling, that shit's fucked and can wreck movements.
