Worst take I've seen all day, and I looked at r/politicalcompassmemes today

Edit: red wines are real nice with soft cheeses, it's sort of cliche but it's real satisfying to combine them

If your desire to be more drunk than you presently are is strong enough, you may surprise yourself with what you can drink

lmao in college i drank mouth wash to get drunk a few times. yeah it ain't great, but it does get you drunk.

After that experience, any legitimate alcoholic beverage tastes extremely good to me

One time I was on an anti-biotic for some GI issue I had years ago, and it was the anti-biotic they give to alcoholics that makes you super sick if you have alcohol, and didn’t even think about the fact that mouthwash has alcohol in it and ended up the hospital for two days

That's kind of a great story to have though haha
In undergrad some friends got a hold of malort, and honestly after that no regular alcohol is that bad

Definitely! when you've tasted something so gross, it expands your horizons and allows you to enjoy even the cheapest shitty alcohol.

There's this ten dollar four liter jug of red wine I pick up from Walmart every once in a while. Everyone around me says it tastes like shit and asks how I can drink that stuff. It's a lot of alcohol for a little money, and it kinda tastes like red wine, what's not to love?

I love drinking vinegar. If it got me drunk I'd take it over wine any time.

I have no problem against alcohol, but sometime around age 24 my partner and I went from often drinking till drunk and smoking the weed to rarely to essentially never. The only time I've had a drink in like 5 years was at my college best-friend's wedding.

red wine always seems to give me the worst hangovers besides hard alcohol. I can do white wine no problem for whatever reason. honestly not big on wine though, when i was super broke for awhile i lived off boxed wine and that was nice
