I've been using a 10 year old Turtle Beach gaming headset to listen to music because I prefer over-the-ear headphones over earbuds since they usually hurt my ears and it's all I got.

    This. Or the DT990 if you want an open back pair. On top of everything OP said, they're also very comfortable.
