I feel like the antifa thing is happening again where the broader left likes to project far greater control and involvement than actually exist. A lot of BLM is really just local communities trying to raise policing standards to what you see in the most of the west while using BLM as a shorthand. They did explain in detail over hundreds of town halls, interviews and speeches what they were doing.

It's true they are not broadly any kind of marxist, but that has to do with marxist being at a stage where random people were essentially being asked to build the entire organization on faith. Of course the communities would just use liberal organizations and tactics instead.
