And am I misinterpreting it? Some flags of the left implicitly stand for respecting human rights. To me the snake flag seems to represent moments libs simply don't want to be stopped, whatever they're doing. Evil or not.

    Gadsden was appointed as a commissioner during 1823 to help with the organization and the expulsion of most of the Seminole Indian Tribe from their homes in Florida and southern Georgia, along the Trail of Tears to land reservations that had been reserved for them in what is now Oklahoma.

    This is the grandson of the guy who made the flag.

      The guy who made the flag, Christopher Gadsden, owned two plantations in the South and enough slaves to fill it. He also owned a wharf that brought 40% of all African slaves into the US. He thought that British taxation was slavery while actual slavery was not treading on anybody??
