the closest we'll probably ever get is just see plant-based products almost always optionally served in addition to meat. And not like how shitty schools just give you a block of cold tofu, but actually put a bit of work in to make them comparable taste wise. i think that is a realistic and decent thing to achieve. I mean I guess this might be debatable to some people, but personally speaking here, I've always thought the real, tangible goal is just to reduce meat or animal-product consumption. At least from a climate change perspective, a decent reduction can help considerably.
Ehh, I can see a a future where genuine beef is simply too expensive to eat most of the time. You wouldn’t have to ban it, because it’s simply too expensive for most folks to eat all the time.
this right here in 10 years or less. plant based foods get tastier, cheaper, and meat becomes a luxury item. it would already be happening with milk if it wasn't for the subsidies
