    Yet another reason why this shit is systemic is because dipshit journalists with “police sources” will just uncritically print anything they say when they literally can’t stop fucking lying.

    Yeah I'm fucking tired of it. And it feels worse now. Like I'm watching the local news and they read statements from the police and then play video of the police giving the statement so as to drill their message into people's heads. The system is fucked.

      I trust random bystanders more than police. Police as an institution have a reason to lie, random people don't. Eyewitness shit is unreliable but it's usually due to bad memory and not because they belong to a racist institution.
