I can't wait for the day when a thumb shaped humanoid squeezes the life out of me with their donut encrusted thunder thighs of impending justice.
It's almost like leftists keep telling people this will continue happening until the police are abolished.
Listen, sweaty, abolish the police just isn't a slogan we can get the nation behind. Maybe we can increase their budgets so they can afford sensitivity training and kente cloth uniforms.
How about when you're in crisis we send armed social workers who can ask you what's troubling you with their knee on your neck?
"WHAT ARE YOUR PRONOUNS?!?!" They scream while choking me.
Welp, they just spent the extra money on another light armored personnel vehicle.
We can't abolish them nooowww, look at all the murders going unpunished these days!
Imagine living in a dystopian police state where government officials routinely execute innocent citizens on a whim and still believing you live in a "free" country.
I had one boomer chud bring up Floyds domestic issues, at random when we weren’t even taking about Floyd, just justice in america lol.
That's the media's job, to assassinate your character to justify the police murdering you. This time though with Flyod it was different, there wasn't much character to assassinate as even CNN was like "damn this shit is heinous". But if there's some wiggle room and centrists and neolibs can side with the police while grasping for something you did bad in your past, they'll make it work justifying killing you.
Weird how they've specifically knelt on and killed at least two or three people since Derek Chauvin was convicted on multiple charges for his murder of George Floyd. Is this retaliation, or is this just the "normal" rate of police killings by kneeling?
Perhaps they're trying to follow Chauvin's "example"? But either way it's hell world :agony-limitless:
Happy to have them follow his example and pick up three homicide charges. I guess bittersweet, not happy, but you get the idea
It's so fucking chilling to think of all the times the police just lied about how someone died and got away with it. Genuinely, thank fuck all phones have cameras and more and more cops wear cams too.
Yet another reason why this shit is systemic is because dipshit journalists with "police sources" will just uncritically print anything they say when they literally can't stop fucking lying.

Yeah I'm fucking tired of it. And it feels worse now. Like I'm watching the local news and they read statements from the police and then play video of the police giving the statement so as to drill their message into people's heads. The system is fucked.
I trust random bystanders more than police. Police as an institution have a reason to lie, random people don't. Eyewitness shit is unreliable but it's usually due to bad memory and not because they belong to a racist institution.
"BREAKING NEWS: Auschwitz Guard Says 'nothing to see here!' Horror Stories Overblown?"
Worth noting, just as police departments are reluctantly embracing shit like body cameras, their members also informally embracing shit like Signal to keep their shit out of public records and public view. I've heard the pigs mention "the Signal chat"on my radio scanner several times.
god the reddit post for this event is so disheartening.
"IT WASN'T THE NECK, THEY MURDERED HIM IN THE CORRECT WAY"
fucking bootlickers omg this country is so cringe.
This is why I won't read about this or post it on reddit. I don't need to read some chud being all "akkkchually he deserved to be mauled by a pack of feral pigs because he didn't do the hokey pokey and turn himself around juuuuust right."
"I John Brown am now quite certain that the crimes of this guilty land will never be purged away, but with Blood. I had...vainly flattered myself that without very much bloodshed, it might be done.
Nah we had our cop John Brown already
RIP Christopher Dorner
Too pure for this world
Imagine sending a hit out on a guy just for hanging out near your yard and talking to himself. Quote from the caller "He's not doing anything wrong, he's just scaring my wife". Holy shit, people still haven't learned that calling the cops on someone is a death sentence in this country.
EDIT: Second call was about him carrying around Walgreens baskets full of alcohol that were allegedly stolen. So worst case scenario here we're talking non-violent, petty theft. WOW, totally worth executing someone for. I hate this country. They asked the caller if he had a weapon and they responded "No, he has a comb, looks like he's been brushing his hair." Sooooo scary.
When the cop arrives Mario is in a tiny park near a public road and next to a house but not even on their property, it's fucking fenced. Bougie cowards. Cop calmly asks him a few questions like "Do you want to hurt yourself?" He responds "It's not like that... " while wobbling around and dropping a few bits of trash (yet he picks up the trash right away). Cop makes a call to ask if any Walgreens had thefts that day. The dude overhears and starts anxiously mumbling about the call, but he stays standing where he is and doesn't get angry. A few minutes later the cop gets a "Negative." response and answers "Affirmative". Cop starts getting impatient and asks for name and ID, saying they'd arrest him if he couldn't provide it. Mario gets nervous and keeps talking about his day and starts standing on the stumps next to him. Cops tell him to get his hands out of his pockets. He doesn't right away so each cop takes an arm, lifts it up, and gets him off the stump claiming they don't want him to hurt himself. But in reality they're starting to arrest him and putting his hands behind his back. Mario realizes the cops are arresting him and panics, saying he didn't do anything, but he's not violent about it. He just tries to wriggle his arms out. They tell him firmly to cooperate over and over again and a minute later Mario unsuccessfully tries to run.
17:30 is when things start getting violent. The cops tackle him instantly and successfully cuff him about 2 minutes later. Then one of the cops says "We're gonna take care of you, ok?" While putting his knee on the guy's upper back and putting his weight into it. Mario yells "Thank you!" in pain. He keeps repeating "Thank you." while the cops confirm they have him. This should have been the end of it, but no, of course the cops had to fucking kill him. They ask him questions and he answers them, sometimes trying to get up in between answers. Mario says his birth year is... 1984. Promise I'm not shitposting here. Cops tell him they think he had too much to drink that day, and they're pretty calm. Cops say he's kicking but that's hard to confirm with body camera footage. Mario is grunting, groaning, and having a hard time breathing. Suddenly cops say "We have no weight on his chest" to the body cam this time, and one cop ushers the other two to get off him "No weight, no weight!" like they knew what they had just done. They turn him over around 22:40 and at this point his face is blurred out, so I assume he's dead. They quickly take off his jacket and check for a pulse and perform CPR, but to no avail. They killed a man just for being drunk in public.
Alameda is a very white, wealthy enclave entirely surrounded by east oakland on one side and the bay on the other, but is separated by a few small bridges or tunnels. This breeds a paranoid, classist, racist mindset among the residents.
healthcare in the US:
-
no access to healthcare to help you deal with pre-existing conditions
-
end up on the street/delinquent/whatever
-
cops get called on you and try to restrain you
-
die because they did something which fucks with that pre-existing condition
-
cops get off because there's no way they can account for every possible medical scenario, so "freak" accidents like this are seen as acceptable, and said pre-existing condition is used to frame the scenario as "cops were just doing their job, not their fault, this person basically executed themselves, nothing we can do about it, sorry folks!"
