healthcare in the US:
no access to healthcare to help you deal with pre-existing conditions
end up on the street/delinquent/whatever
cops get called on you and try to restrain you
die because they did something which fucks with that pre-existing condition
cops get off because there's no way they can account for every possible medical scenario, so "freak" accidents like this are seen as acceptable, and said pre-existing condition is used to frame the scenario as "cops were just doing their job, not their fault, this person basically executed themselves, nothing we can do about it, sorry folks!"
