A coworker offerd to give me some ducks a while back and figured I'd give it a go but it all went to shit. The ducks were always terrified of me even though I was very nice and fed them and gave them a little house and shit. I'd usually spend 15-30 minutes every night coaxing them/chasing them into their house. One night they hid in a shrub and wouldn't come out and after an hour I had to say fuck it and then 3 of them got got by something, I think a opossum. This happened again a couple weeks later and now I just have one duck who is more like a pet now and is pretty cool. Follows me up in the woods behind the house when I go on hikes. Also one of my dogs is terrified of the duck.
