This really strikes me as creating a strawman to get angry about. Even if the person is not being literal about people in the United States worshipping The Founding Fathers like literal gods (I assume they are not), I do not think most Americans have this view on them where they did nothing wrong and were infallible.
Typically they dodge that by saying they invented such an enlightened system of government that it caused their own mistakes to eventually be abolished, thereby crediting the founding fathers indirectly with every improvement that has ever occurred in this country's awful history, as well as implying that them owning slaves was some sort of honest mistake that they would have change their mind about eventually.
