equidistant point between britain and france

what if i told you sealand is private property owned by a guy larping as a monarch?
oh damn. if only there was a way for socialists to get rid of those and establish their own country
but i understand that would be nigh impossible to do in such a populous a nation of, I quote, "normally like two people"
I recently went through an interactive documentary where in the 70s. a guy created an independent organisation free of foreign national control on a platform in the middle of the ocean, but it got attacked by this former CIA strike unit, and they slaughtered basically everyone there. Apparently, he tried again about 10 years later off the coast of the Seychelles, but it turned out it was actually some other guy acting as a body double, and then they moved all the stuff from the Seychelles to South Africa some time around 1990, and then a clone of the first guy killed the body double. Super confusing.
I guess the whole point of what I'm getting at is, you could probably take over a platform, and then just... y'know, build a nuclear weapon or a giant bipedal tank of some sort. That'd probably be a suitable deterrent.
don't worry. sealand has the most anti aircraft weapons per square kilometer of any nation on earth
private property is a funny way of saying "legitimate sovereign nation"
Britain and France as opposed to Vietnam and Cuba
:uncle-ho: :fidel-sarcastic:
I tried, Chinese immigration is overtly hostile if you are going for long term immigration. I bring this up every now and then, but over the past 10 years China has issued 20,000 permanent residency visas which is required if you want citizenship. Now just think about all the people who are on a spouse visa who would ordinarily convert but just haven’t. It’s easy to get into on a non-permanent basis, but that becomes less feasible when thinking about life post working.
my french is--how do you say--tragique, but at least my mother tongue is mutually intelligible on the isles.
culturally speaking, my idea of emigrating to the UK reminds of that old quote: england and america are two countries separated by an atlantic ocean.
