the plot was kinda yikes but the ease of which quark was able to undergo that surgery, in and out in a few hours, implies that everyone in star trek could be trans
Yeah, I get what they were trying to do, especially making Quark be on the receiving end of the abuse he gives "females", but it hasn't aged well and it wasn't particularly good when it came out either.
