Here’s the funny part: the reasoning is that a Marxist standpoint supposedly subdivides people into classes, which is dehumanising.

The “junge Welt” is the only newspaper observed by the “Verfassungsschutz”, Germany’s secret service for internal security (which is notorious for being subverted by Nazis, like actual fucking Nazis, as well as their sympathisers like it’s former boss Hans-Georg Maaßen).

    This poem is well-known in Germany, it's even part of most schools' curriculum - yet somehow, for some mysterious reason, German conservatives still insist on coming for the communists first. :thinkin-lenin:

        "They" in this case including the SPD, which of course is part of the federal government, is of course incapable of effective resistance against fascism, is of course as anti-communist as ever, and is as usual unaware that they'll be next.
