It's kind of crazy how any criticism of Israel, no matter how light, is now labelled as antisemitism. It's almost like accusing someone of communism during the McCarthy era, but even more insidious.

Oh so you are comparing pro-israel dunces to not-very-subtle-nazi McCarthysts? That's a total antisemitism

You can always tell when institutions of inequality are truly threatened, as they resort to show trials and genocidal crimes against minorities. We'll see McCarthy era trials again in America, probably in the next 10 years or so. You know...to root out the "eViL cHINEEEESE inFiLtRaToRs."

I’m pretty sure there is a not-insubstantial population of Jews who hate Israel because of this shit.

They exist. They're called Anti-Zionist Jews.

(warning: general mainstream media zionist cringe, the reporter tries to paint the anti-zionist jews in the worst light possible, which is pretty ironic ngl)

The Guardian once allowed its former South Africa correspondent, who had transferred to Israel, to compare in detail the two countries’ systems of apartheid. It caused a furor – much of it instigated by the Israeli embassy in London – that made the paper even more shy of taking on the Israel lobby.

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2006/feb/06/southafrica.israel

"There are few places in the world where governments construct a web of nationality and residency laws designed for use by one section of the population against another. Apartheid South Africa was one. So is Israel."

There are so many people tweeting basic observations of Israel who are not as profoundly fucking stupid as Caitlin Johnstone. Share their posts instead please
