Your taste buds mature and change just like the rest of your body does as you get older. Fruit and veggies are one of the cheaper things you can try again, I'd highly recommend it.

I didn't like cucumbers or zucchini as a kid but now I think they're pretty good.

You can start with fruits you haven't tried in awhile that you know other people in your household or neighborhood like. That way it won't go to waste if you still find it icky.

What is even a good fruit?
I feel like a pear is just a worse apple.
Bananas and oranges have weird textures.

I can give you a list of the ones I like: blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, pine berries, plums, oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, mangoes, watermelon, cherries, sweet apples, avocado (yep it's a fruit lul), bananas, cranberries, coconut (NOT shredded), grapes, honeydew, jackfruit, kiwi, lemon, lime, nectarines, olives (lul), papaya, peaches, dragon fruit, pineapple, tomatoes (pfft) and plantains.

And then there's fruit I can tolerate, but don't go out of my way to eat: prunes, dates, pears, persimmons, cantaloupe, and apricots

EDIT: If you're looking for few good seasonal fruits this summer (peak season fruits tend to taste better), I recommend berries, watermelon, cherries and peaches.
