    Now who could have predicted this?

    It's like how if you are a prison guard you have to sign a waiver if you get taken hostage that the authorities will not negotiate your release. Which draws parallels to the 'we do not negotiate with terrorists' mantra. Which also makes sense given Gaza is a giant prison.
