This is a sex story and all parties involved are fine.
Not wanting to get too graphic, I got frostbite on my junk when the person I was dating at the time wanted to try something kinky. I wasn't that adventurous at the time, and I wanted to be open-minded. See, they didn't read about how to do things like that and I didn't know any better, but assumed they did.
The hookup ended, and that was when I realized I could audibly knock on the frozen area. I had to head home after that time, but we were both freaking out. But I wanted to leave and so I did the 45-minute drive home, waiting to see what would happen. When it started to hurt, it felt like a sunburn, honestly.
I went to the urgent care and told the treating physician I fell asleep after a workout with an ice pack on my thigh. I'd like to hope they believed me, but as a more mature adult now, I'd be more forthcoming since they're a medical professional.
Anyway, I got a burn cream that worked and still have a scar on the area.
The embarrassing part was that I sent one of my messages to a friend in my work group chat instead of the one intended friend/roommate.
It wasn't enough to specify what happened, but they knew I had a date the day before.
