I'm going to wear my mask in crowded areas probably for the rest of my life cause it was really sweet not getting the flu or a cold or pnemonia again. It's also helped my sever allergies by a ridiculous amount. I'm definitely not looking forward to always having to worry about some random redneck assaulting me though. Dipshit state is only 26% vaccinated and the morons here are so fucking quick to violence it's insane.
Even before the pandemic, I would wear masks in public if I was sick because I’m not an asshole.
Add it to the list of things I envy about collectivist societies.
This is the norm in a lot of countries. Thanks for not being an American turd.
Jesus Christ why is giving a shit about others so frowned upon.
I enjoyed not having to be anxious about my expression/or facial hair. Anonymity was cool too.
Ya those were nice too. Though I need to figure something out for giant beards. Mask feels pointless when I have a jungle bursting through it. Best I've been able to come up with is wearing a gater over my mask
You could do one of those plague masks if you're willing to gel/pack in the thing.
Costco has ended the mask mandate.
Ultimately this is just them passing the buck. If local health authorities mandate masks, they have to 'enforce' it but the stores are not going to police health more than the local public health people.
So, 10% have gotten COVID and presumably are immune, ~35% have gotten vaccinated. Even assuming the best case of no overlap, this leaves 180 million people who are vulnerable to illness and capable of spreading potential mutations.
"Look Jack, we said we'd listen to science, not math!" :biden-troll:
I'm excited to not wear a mask anymore but not like this. No warning, no controls, just chaos. We'll have to go back to wearing masks in no time.
This shit feels especially fucked up for poc. I hated the anxiety I felt at the beginning of the pandemic when masks weren't nearly as normalized. Worse now that it's political on top of being a way to commit crimes.
I just woke up from a dream that I was in CVS and looked around and no one was wearing a mask. And they were all hugging each other and celebrating that they didn’t need to wear masks anymore.
if i go into sams or walmart (probably with family) i will be wearing a mask if i see some dingus there not wearing one
I don't want to give up on wearing masks, they're good for filtering pollution too.
I know it makes me a libcuck, but I fully plan on buying that Razer one as soon as it's available.
