    David Lynch is very good at examining the trauma the cold machinery society inflicts on young women without even thinking about it, and is also very good at pointing out the way that all modern "polite society" only exists due to the overwhelming criminality and violence they are constantly committing and shoving on to the less advantaged.

    It's a shame that David Lynch has apparently never met a black person in his life because if he had I'm sure you could call his works a critical deconstruction of small town America. As it is it's missing something pretty big though.
