    Aardman has put out some fun movies in other media - Robin Robin, their Christmas movie from a few years ago, did a lot of cute stuff with felt.

      yeah, regular people don't even understand how these things are put together anymore; i remember various traditional animation studios transitioning to digital precisely because they had trouble sourcing the tons and tons of paints they required for their movies

      Sounds like they knew the factory was going to be shutting down sooner rather than later and planned accordingly. Which makes sense, I’m sure they were one of the major customers for the factory so there would have been communication about their plans.
