There's evidence both for feathered and scaly species. There's tyranosaurids who definitely had feathers, there were also later species that were definitely scaly. Feather gang's cooler, though :bird-bouncy:
oh for sure, I was thinking of the Jurassic Park depiction of velociraptors etc, which to be fair, has a perfect in-universe excuse of including lizard/amphibian dna, and being a rough reconstruction.
