I'd love to see one too for the creator(s) of Soul-Seek. A seriously great app that has an awesome music community / chatrooms, i've discovered so much stuff through it. And you can find the most obscure or hard to find songs. Ever since what.cd went under, it's the best source of music still i think.

The SoulseekQT p2p client has built-in chatrooms. They're pretty barebones, but straightforward. Just make an account and go to the Rooms tab.
Is the soulseek hex room active?
