I've yet to hear a pro-crypto argument that isn't a criticism of the naked class interests of central banks but with extra steps.
Cryptocurrency issued by the state has low power consumption, allows real time feedback into the monetary system, reduces obfuscation of money flows and allows the state to perform cybernetics at a level the cybersyn planners could only dream of.
No no, don't you remember, it's supposed to be like digital cash totally anonymous and untraceable, certainly not the complete opposite of that.
