Nabbed stellaris and a bit of their dlc recently, gonna try modding it, any recommendations?
I thought this was saying what mod from this site you should play vidya games with. Started to make a list of cool mods in my head before reading the rest of the post.
I mainly just play the computer but a real game with other people would prob be super fun. My regular group doesn't really do 4x's as far as I've seen, although they'd prob do a civ game or something if we all managed to snag it on sale.
I use a "no pirates" mod because it's a super annoying mechanic. I guess it's technically cheating but I don't give a shit it's annoying as hell to deal with it.
True. I'm a bit surprised by how different the game is to the last time I played it. Last time it was all the old planet view and pop mechanics and everything. I had to deal with pirates my last vanilla game after grabbing it on the recent sale. super annoying to have to builds all those little fleets roving around my massive empire all the time.
There are Star Trek and Star Wars total conversions that are pretty fun. I haven't gotten far in either though. :dax-stoked:
Heard good things about those both but I prefer a more vanilla overhaul rather than adding other francise's stuff, I've managed to not really fall into either fandom myself.
I really don't know since I need to get back to it as well but I'll share my very outdated mods list for previous versions - I'm sure most of these have an updated version.
I think I'm using most of these, looked good. I did go for the starnet ai instead though.
