      My mom the first time she got treated over seas. It literally cost a 1/20th of what it would have in the us.

      The crazy thing is even with that first hand experience she still is against healthcare reform

          Yup. The cognitive dissonance is wild. Talking about healthcare with her is like that Patrick from sponge Bob meme where she’ll agree with every point right up to the conclusion of socialized healthcare being good and the us’s system is a racket and at the last moment switch back lol

            I think at that point the only path forward is to keep pointing out the flaws and let her approach the conclusion herself.
