          Sabra and Shatila.

It's also an older term for Israeli settlers

They simplified another name in english. In Hebrew there is Tsabra, which is a cactus and was adopted for Israelis born in the lands of Palestine. Arabic writes it with a sin, not a sad, different letters.

          س ص

Sabra, the camp, is written with a sad, non-arab ears dont really hear the difference without a little bit of training.

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabra_(person)

You can look at the pages in arabic and you'll see they are different. It still speaks to a lot of ignorance/not caring to name it like that though, considering the company was founded only 2 years after the massacres happened.

He made one in this very video. Sabra is owned by Strauss Group, one of Israel's largest food companies.

I think that's part of the subtext. Sabra being demanded by the unquenchable lord of the pit, and opening that with and up next is jeb.

He doesn't do bits like this anymore to my knowledge. One of the last times his real humor was allowed. The other was the "I have to do what corporate says or I lose the show".

The exposing super pacs was what was his and Stewart's One Good Shot against the establishment. This applies to about everyone. Then they either turn you to the establishment's favor or they burn you. flattened-bernie

I stopped watching him after the 2016 primaries.

Yeah there was definitely a very clear change in tone when he took over the Late Show
