good or bad?

I struck up a conversation with a clown outside a carnival a few years ago. He told me about how lonely he was since his kids moved out and clowning helped him have something to do and to raise money to find cures for childhood diseases.

I think they're probably mostly decent people who want to make people laugh, and a lot of them seem to be involved with the shriners because they care about helping children, but the makeup is definitely creepy.

It's like, obscuring the face is always just a little spooky, and then when you see them, your mind automatically goes to John Wayne Gacy and Pennywise and ICP.

In the end, I'd say I respect clowns who get into it for good reasons, but I don't necessarily want to watch them or think about them.
