Seems like it's probably a chud show. Should I give into peer pressure and watch it?

Edit: Thanks to your comments I have come to the conclusion that I should watch it.

    It's not a chud show but the humour is all aimed squarely at rural Canadians. There's a few commenters here saying they don't get it, and I'm not surprised. There's probably some appeal in perceiving the characters as ridiculous and comical, but you'd laugh harder if you personally knew a whole bunch of people exactly like them.

      If you come from the rural US, there's plenty to appreciates about it, even if you don't get all the Canadian stuff.
