Does anyone know anything about the Zapatistas and their refugee policy? Being literally at the border with Central America I assume they see a lot of refugees making their way north. Do they have some kind of program set up for people who move through their territories? Could a refugee settle in MAREZ?

Probably not many people want to settle there because it's very poor even by Mexican standards.
