Every socialist state has been "liberalizing" its economy in recent decades; a carefully state-controlled private sector can help speed up economic development and eliminate absolute poverty until productive forces are sufficiently developed to allow them to progress to a more advanced stage of socialism. China, Cuba, Vietnam, Nepal, and yeah, the DPRK have all been doing this to some degree. Even the CPP plans to include a stage of capitalist development as part of the development of socialism in the Philippines.

Not sure what you mean by that. Are you talking about the Korean Social Democratic Party? They've been allied with the Worker's Party since the Korean War and are pretty minor.
