The Chinese State Council has selected the eastern province of Zhejiang as a pilot area to showcase the country's policies for development and reform. It said the move is aimed at promoting nationwide prosperity by showcasing an example.
The council said common prosperity is an essential part of socialism and unbalanced development remains a problem in China. It said promoting common prosperity will be a long-term task, and some regions need to take the lead and set an example. The council also said high-quality development needs to be based on people's common interests, and focus on reform and innovation.
I do think there's a possibility of China reaching a tipping point on growth with their current neo-keyneisan policies. This might be an evolution of those existing policies should they fail or result in crisis.
China may end up being humanity's hope for a decent future. I wish them the best of luck in this.
I mean, if only there was some kind of date they had set for implementing socialism, which would logically entail preparing for this date in advance and doing trials to be certain of the correct course.
